JOHN O'NEIL Obituary

John P. O'Neil, 86, passed away Monday, October 13, 2014, in Overland Park, KS. John was born July 17, 1928, in Seattle, WA, to Elmer and Lydia (Mason) O'Neil. He graduated from O'Dea High School in Seattle and served in the US Army during the Korean War. John retired from the Boeing Corporation after 37 years in various management and supervisory positions. After living in Wichita since 1980, he recently relocated to Overland Park. He was preceded in death by brothers, Elmer and Terry. John is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Annabelle (Weiss) O'Neil; sons, Greg (Norma), Morrie, of Arlington, VA, and Dwight O'Neil; grandchildren, Hannah and Sofia O'Neil; sister, Irene (O'Neil) Strand, of Seattle, WA; brother, Bob O'Neil, of Whitefish, MT; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service with inurnment to follow will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 17, 2014, at the Johnson County Chapel – Indoor Garden of Memories, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS 66210.
