Margie and rhe rest of the Brancato Family: we have just returned from Italy and are do sorry to hear this news. Your dad was such a great man, and my dad really enjoyed all the times they spent together and all their phone calls. His obituary was so beautifully written, a real reflection on the legacy he left upon all those who knew him. Please accept my sincere condolences and know that all of you will be in my prayers. I hope my Dad, Joe and all the other Brancatos are having a fun party in heaven! May he rest in peace! Sincerely, Andrea Brancato Vovk (Marion & Joan Brancato's daughter)

Mr. Brancato was certainly one of the very best customers I've ever worked with in my 37 years in the Laundry industry, but beyond that he was an incredibly great storyteller whom I always enjoyed listening to so much, and a paragon inspiration of what a person of solid integrity and genuine kindheartedness should be. Truly an exceptional man that will never be forgotten.

To my Dear Friend Joe: Well my friend we had a long friendship of more than 47 years. I can remember the first time we met at the Crap Table in the Tropicana Hotel. We developed a friendship from that day on that we would both cherish for the next 47 years. All the wonderful memories along the way both in Las Vegas & in Kansas City. I believe I could write a book of all the fun times we had & laughter we shared & the talks on the phone we had for hours. We developed a friendship like no other. My Dad would tell me if you met one true friend in your life, you were a lucky man. You were that friend to me & I was truly a lucky man to have known you. Our friendship will never end because you will always hold a special place in my heart. I’ll never forget all our special dinners in Vegas & the laughter & joy we spent together. Our phone calls at least twice a week for hours. Talking about every subject you
Could possibly think of from the Korean War, American history, sports, old times, the changing times & on & on. The old stories were the best. I know you loved talking about how & when you met Marie & the joy you two shared. Also about your children of how proud you were of them all. And the special memories you were able to share with Margie in the later years. Great memories all the way up to the end. I will truly miss you pal & I know you’re looking down saying all is good so until we meet up again, I love you brother & will be thinking about you daily. You’ll be in my daily prayers as you always have been. My heart is broken. Send me some dimes from time to time so I’ll know what we know. Rest in Peace my Dear friend, Your Pal, John G.

So sad but Joe was an amazing person. He did always care about others around him. All of us
No matter what. I miss New Year’s Eve at the house in the old house. The kids were babies but that house was everything about Joe and Marie. So many memories. God has him now.

My closest cousins lived 2 blocks from my family most of my early life. They were siblings who lived in another house down the street, for real! Cousin Joe Brancato was textbook family in all areas, except his heart was extremely larger than most!. I can only speak for myself....He was one of our 2nd fathers as was Leo Failoni!! Proximity matters! Thank you for looking out for us as we were growing up! We love you!!! RIP!!!

Mr. Brancato was the epitome of an Italian gentleman. He was rightfully proud of his heritage, his family and his accomplishments. He always took the time to visit with me and give us 'younger guys' good advice, while entertaining us with his stories. Thank you Mr. B for setting an example for all of us.

Words can’t express the respect I have for Joe Brancato. Every time I seen him he was always helping someone out or doing for others. He gave me a chance when no one else would. I am going to miss his stories of how he wasn’t a street guy. There were times when I had situations and he always had a solution or helped and never said no. The most solid man I have ever met hands down. Thank you for believing in me when I didn’t. I wouldn’t be where I’m at if it wasn’t for Big Joe. The Brancato Family has always treated me like family and my heart goes out to all of you.

This world has lost a great man! A void that will never be replaced. I can't even begin to express the enormous amount of gratitude I have towards this man. He did more for me than anyone I have ever met. Years ago when my son was diagnosed with Autism and shared it with him. He immediately paid for my health insurance and said don't worry about it just consider it a raise. Til this day I still shed tears thinking about it. He did many more things for me but that was how great and giving he was. I learned so much from him. He was a man of great wisdom. He treated me like a son and I looked up to him like a father figure. He helped shape the person that I am. I spent 21 years of my life working for him and learning a lot in that time. I express my deepest condolences to his wife and family. May God bless his soul and his family.
