My deepest sympathy to all of your family. Maxine was a very special person who loved her family without reservation. She spoke of all of you often and enjoyed her grandchildren immensely. I served as Department President of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary as did Maxine. She was so dedicated to all that the organization stood for and will be remembered by all who knew her. I am certain that she and Chet are busy right now catching up -- they were such a loving couple I am proud to call her my friend. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless!!

We will miss our Sister Maxine greatly. She was a kind thoughtful person that we came to know through Eastern Star and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Our sympathy to all of her family.

Maxine was a wonderful person. She and I worked together at Ladies Auxiliary VFW Headquarters, members of the Auxiliary and OES. We had a lot in common. I'm sorry for your loss and know how much she loved you all. She always shared stories of her granddaughters and how proud she was.
