Terry,
So sad to hear the passing of your father. Fred told me and we were not aware that the visitation and burial was this week. So sad to have missed the service. We really wanted to be there.
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Your daddy was a terrific man that I always enjoyed visiting with whenever we would come out to hear your band.
Rest in Peace sweet Larry!
My heart is heavy for you Terry!
Love

Ann, I was so saddened to read Larry' obituary in the Examoner this morning. I came to the church for the music, and hoped to see you, but had to leave before seeing and talking to you. Larry. And Mike were so much Like with family and baseball, either playing or coaching. Our son, Chris is baseball coach at Ft Osage High School, so I am still involved. Mike passed away in June 2013 and we were married, almost 53 years, so Ihave that in common. I remember in the day all the fun we had. My condolences to you and your family. Call if you want to talk, in the phone book under Joseph Walker, on Dakota. Love, Judy Walker

Larry was a good friend, neighbor and grandfather figure to my Children that anyone could ask for. He was there for anyone and everyone that needed a hand. He will greatly be missed and holds a place in our entire family's heart.

Larry was a unique individual, and will be sorely missed. I will never forget him and his kindness growing up. He was close to a second father to me, and will be sorely missed.

My heart goes out to Ann, Terry, Sherri, and the rest of the family.

Our family is so sorry to hear about Larry. Mark was telling me stories about MGE and how Larry could fix or build "Anything" when they worked together. We will keep all of the Hancock Family's in our thoughts and prayers.

I truly enjoyed playing baseball for Larry all those years with HiBoy Drive In. Will always remember Larry for his pregame cup check with a baseball bat. I know I was never without mine. Rest in Peace my good friend. You'll always hold a spot in my heart. Love you!!!

We miss our "Buddy" sitting with us when we listened to Terry play. He always made us laugh telling the same old stories! He always made us feel like we were so very important to him...he loved his family, especially those grandkids and his baseball. We love him and this family so very much and it will not be the same without Larry. We already miss him ALOT!

I knew you only a little while;
You had the most friendly smile.
You welcomed me with open arms,
And treated me like family.

I will miss you more than words can say,
Because you are so far, far away.
God took another good man home,
Your absence will leave a great big hole.

I will miss that friendly smile,
I only knew a little while.
RIP Uncle Larry

Larry was the rarest of all things, a friend worth having. In my darkest times and my best days, he was there to share his time and his life with me. He was one of the good guys. I'll miss him.
