Larry crossed over Jordan in a golden boat. For the sake of His sorrowful passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

It was a pleasure to share school days with Larry. We were classmates! I pray that God will receive Larry into His kingdom.

Damon, Derek, Kay, Earl Florice and all of Larry's loved ones, I extend my sincere condolence. Having known Larry since high school, I can honestly say that we have lost a kind, compassionate, caring friend. His unselfish concern for others was frequently exhibited through his visits and calls during my illness. Although he himself was unwell, his concern for others never wavered. This quality was a true testimony to who he was. My sincere hope is that your pain and sorrow will be diminished by the fond memories and love that you shared. Larry will forever remain in your hearts and the hearts of his friends.

The Davis family has heavy hearts in the passing of Mr. Larry Jefferson. Larry was a brother from a different mother, we were closer than most brothers since we met in the fourth grade. We talked almost everyday reminiscing of our childhood experiences at St. Mary's Catholic School and Vicksburg were we grew up. We both were proud of our classmates and had much love and respect for them. Larry would often visit me here in Augusta (Hephzibah) where he was well known and made many friends who thought the world of him and always asked of him. Larry was a wonderful human being that will definitely be missed, he was an uncle to my children who adored him. He was loved by us all, rest in peace my brother.
