LOIS MAY SEELBINDER Lois May Seelbinder, 92, Tonganoxie, KS passed away on November 21, 2017. A celebration of life will be held at Quisenberry Funeral Chapel on December 1, 2017. Lois was born in Shawnee, KS, the youngest of three children to Mary and Floyd Robinson. Lois graduated from Shawnee Mission Rural High School in 1943 and married her high school sweetheart, Ed Seelbinder, the following December 10, 1943. Their only child, Loryln Ann Seelbinder, was born February 21, 1949. Llois was a joint partner with Ed in their various business ventures, always with an entrepreneurial spirit. In 1965 they began Tonganoxie Motor Freight to meet the service needs of the many small businesses and communities west of Kansas City. She used her talent as a church organist, as an accompanist for various musical groups and soloists, and would occasionally give Sunday afternoon concerts. Lois enjoyed serving others and was a member of the Tonganoxie Christian Church, the P.E.O Sisterhood, and a supporter of the Happy Helpers 4H Club. Lois was blessed with a long life of 92 years. She and Ed were married for 71 1/2 of those years. She was admired, loved, and will be missed by family and friends alike. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Agnes (Bartko) and Floyd Alpha Robinson; brother, Raymond Prescot Robinson; sister, Cora Arlene Clark. She leaves behind her daughter and son-in-law, Lorlyn and John Mosier of Tonganoxie; two grandchildren, J. Paul Mosier with wife Jill, of Acworth, GA and L. Lorlyn,
I just wanted to let you know that we are all thinking of you and your family today. It's hard to watch our families change through the years.
I was thinking of how, even as older with our own families, we were just as excited to see Aunt Lois come down for a visit, as when we were younger and visited all of you. She was definitely a very special aunt.
Love, Donna, Peter, Ryan, & Adrienne
