Mark Flores Obituary

Mark H. Flores, age 76, a life-long resident of Kansas City, Kansas passed away Saturday, March 18, 2006 at KU Medical Center. He worked for over 20 years at KU Medical Center from where he retired; prior to that he worked at Santa Fe Railroad and several local restaurants. He served his country in the Army. Mark had many friends and loved walking and fishing. He will be remembered by his friends and family for his wit and out going, friendly personality. He was preceded in death by his parents, Canuto R. Flores and Natividad Hernandez Flores, two brothers Celso H. and Adam H. Flores, two sisters Magdalena F. Rodriguez and Natalia F. Mendoza. Mark had requested that his body be donated to science at KU Medical Center and a private family memorial service will be held at Maple Hill Funeral Home. He is survived by a son, David Flores, two brothers, Solomon H. Flores of Shorewood, Wisconsin and Faron H. Flores of Kansas City, Missouri, one sister, Damaris F. Mendez, Kansas City, Kansas. Many nieces and nephews dearly loved him and he will be missed very much by all of us.
