Melva I. Ware

Melva I. Ware, 82, Pleasant Hill, MO, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2005, at Pleasant Hill Rehab Center. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2005, at the Wallace Funeral Home, 422 N. Lake, Pleasant Hill, MO, where family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time. Burial Pleasant Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Building Fund, or Odyssey Hospice, 9229 Ward Parkway, Suite 250, KCMO, 64114. Melva was born in Parkin, AR, and moved to the Pleasant Hill area in 1945. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, the VFW Auxiliary 3118, and the Ladies Golf League, all of Pleasant Hill. She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers, one sister, one daughter-in-law, one grandchild, and one great-grandchild. She is survived by one son, Jay Ware, of the home; two daughters, Joan Mabary, of Harrisonville, MO, and Janice Hook and her husband Charles, of Lee's Summit, MO; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-greatgrandchildren; and many other relatives.
