Milton's father and my mother were first cousins. Milton and I share the same great grandfather, Samuel Minor of Selma (Anderson County) Kansas who had 16 children with 2 wives. I am sure that Milton and I have many cousins through out the USA. One summer when I was 12 or 13, I spent two weeks on the Earheart farm, and during that time Milton taught me, the city boy, how to start a "Pop'n-Johnny" tractor. This occurred during wheat harvest and I remember it as hard work from daylight to dusk. I remember Wayne but can't recall how old he was at the time--just several years younger than Milton. I have been doing genealogy research on Samuel Minor for about a year and could not find an address or phone number for Milton. The last contact that I had with the Earheart family was in 2000 when Cliford attended my mother's funeral. I hope this is forwarded to Milton's siblings and children. My condolences to his family and sorry that I waited so long to contact him.

I am so sorry for your loss. I saw him at New Haven's 60th Anniversary and had a lovely visit with him. My prayers are with the family and look forward to a reunion in heaven. May you feel the peace that the Lord is with you at this time and from the memories you have of him. Blessings!

To Milton's family,
We were sorry to read that he passed away. My family lived by his parents north west of Gardner. KS in the 1940's. I baby sat him and Wayne. We went to his folks anniv. party in a tent on their farm on Antioch Rd.
Even though we haven't been in touch we have fond memories of him and his family.
In deepest sympathy.

I was very saddened to hear of Milton's passing. I had the opportunity to visit with him at New Haven's anniversary celebration. I pray that you will feel God's peace and comfort now and always as you carry your wonderful memories with you until you will see Milton again in heaven on the great reunion day. God bless each of you. Connie (Milham) Shafer.

Shocked to read about Milt's death on FB. Enjoyed his friendship so much and will miss running into him from time to time, catching up on family news. There will be a huge hole in his grandkids' lives and we'll all miss him.

Milt was a good man. I enjoyed my time spent as his next door neighbor in Riverside Village and he was always a good laugh. We talked business, football and radio and continued to stay in touch through the years. He had a vision for real estate development, building radio stations and Boise St in the Pac 12. He was a good man and I will miss him. My best to you all and here's to Milt, a life well lived.
