Nancy Hammack Obituary

Nancy Pauline Hammack, 60, of Shawnee, Kan., passed away Monday, September 25, 2006, at Indian Creek Healthcare Center, Overland Park, Kan. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday, September 29, at the Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. Nancy was born June 23, 1946, in Kansas City, Kan., to Paul and Inez (Beery) Howard. On November 17, 1973, she married Roy Hammack. She had been a registered nurse with the Public Health Department and was a member of the Red Hat Society. Nancy was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Melvin Howard. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Roy Hammack; daughter Sharon Carter; son Brian Hammack and his wife Emily; sisters Ruth Ann Jackson, and Donna Jean Johnson; two brothers, Wayne Howard and Kenneth Howard; five grandchildren, Riley and Jade Carter, Jacob, Dylan and Katie.
