Patsy Finch Obituary

Patsy Sue Finch, 58, Raytown, MO, died February 17, 2007, after a brief illness. She was surrounded by her family who loved her dearly. She attended Raytown High School then married her devoted husband of 40 years and together they raised three sons. Patsy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She worked at House of Lloyd for 19 years, then at Dwyer Instruments until she became ill in January, but her favorite job was as a stay-at-home mom. Patsy was a loving caretaker to her family and friends, and we are grateful to have been able to return some of that love and care for her in her final days. She will be missed by us all. Patsy is survived by her husband, James; three sons: James, Chad, and Lonnie; grandchildren: James Dylan, Nicole and Tommy; daughters-in-law: Rhonda, Leslie, and Chauntelle; father, Stanley Batson; sisters, Linda Finch and her husband, Tom, and Pam Moody and her husband, Bill; brothers, Stan Batson and his wife, Rhonda, and Glenn Batson and his wife, Merrie; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who all loved her very much. Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m. Thursday, February 22 at Brooking Cemetery in Raytown. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Thursday at Charter Funerals, 5000 Blue Ridge Cutoff. (Arrangements Charter Funerals 816-921-5555.)
