Patsy Hibbs Obituary

Patsy R. Hibbs, 77, of Independence, Mo., passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2007. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, July 30, 2007, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Floral Hills Chapel, burial in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday, July 29, 2007, from 6-8 p.m. at the chapel. Patsy was an active member of Women of the Moose 2414. She enjoyed gardening, family gatherings, cards and occasionally the boat. Patsy is survived by seven children, William R., Iva L. Parker, Patricia and Jim Shick, Gregory A., Laura and Rick McClenahan, Steven W. and Teresa, Gerald B. and Lena; 17 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sisters, Joann Erwin, Sandra and Ed Granzella and brother Max Grimm. She is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel R. Hibbs, five brothers, William, Lee, Peter, Donald, Les Grimm, and one sister, Barbara Huttig.
