Dear Kim,
I'm devastated. You and Pete have been special people in my life but we have obviously lost track of each other because this is a shock.
I remember so well when you moved to Lawrence to be close to Pete. And how I took pictures at your "first" wedding at the Justice of the Peace. It wasn't so long ago.
Love to you and your family. God's peace and blessings.

Dear Kim,
I was devestated to hear of Pete's passing. He and I formed a special bond during our days at FOX29, and we stayed in touch. I talked with him just this past spring, and he was his same usual jolly self. God Bless you and the children. I will remember Pete in my prayers always.

Dear Kim, Eric, Paul and Claire-
I am sorry to hear of Pete's passing. His smile and whit were infectious, and always brought such joy to all of us who worked with him at WFTC. No matter how busy he was, he always had time to stop whatever he was doing and help.
He loved to tell all of us stories about each of you, and was the proudest father/husband I knew.
He will be missed greatly.

So sorry to hear about Pete's
passing, I worked with Pete at WDAF-TV, in KC. I worked in the tape room, and he would come in and ask if he could some dubs done, I would joke with him about
not having time, but then would get done right away. He will be missed.

It is a difficult journey for all of us, but only because we loved Pete so much. Please keep his family in your thoughts.

I am saddened to read of Pete's death. We had some great times duck hunting and skeet shooting. Pete was always on top of life. Years ago we both worked for WDAF in the same building. Pete was in sales and I was in news. We had a lot of fun in those days. We were like one big family. Everybody from Radio am/fm, TV, on air, news, and sales would see each other often in the halls or the breakroom. People come and go a lot in the business, but it's always hard to watch the good ones go. I will miss you, Pete.
with fond regards,
Bruce Lindsey

I remember bird hunting with Peter in central Kansas. Peter would slip on his hunting boots but never bother to tie the laces. So he would tromp across the Kansas Prarie all day with untied boot laces dragging behind. But that was Peter: never burdened by life's trivia. What a sad day this is.

How very sad indeed. Peter and Sam often hunted together and it was always a fun time. The "impish" grin of Peters and his youthful exuberance will be remembered always.

John Schweiker, Jerry Uppman and I have had lunches the first Monday of every month for years. We followed Pete's career almost on a monthly basis because of John's constant contact with Ro. I'm heartbroken to hear of his passing, and fondly remember the many times we negotiated buys with him on WDAF-TV. His honesty, intelligence, humor, friendship will always be remembered.

Grignon Family - I was deeply saddened to hear of Peter's death. His years in Kansas City calling on our agency on behalf of WDAF-TV were a delight because of his endearing smile and infectious laugh. I will always cherish his memory.

I loved my cousin Peter, he was a hero to me. He rescued our cat Gracious in a terrible thunderstorm, just because I was scared and he loved me. He always made me feel I was his favorite girl.
My thoughts and prayers are with all my family, I love you all.
