Maria R. Grignon

Maria R. Grignon, age 63, of Appleton passed away on Saturday December 27, 2025, with family at her side. Maria was born on February 15, 1962, in Illinois. She had lived in Oregon and California; spending precious moments at the ocean front. Maria lived in the Appleton area for the past 24 years. She most enjoyed time with her sons, Jeremiah and Jessey. She also enjoyed trips to the casino, drinking coffee, playing cards and the Chicago Bears. Maria cherished these memories made with her family and friends. She was extremely proud of her sons, Jeremiah and Jessey, and loved supporting them in any way possible.

Maria is survived by her sons, Jeremiah Grignon and Jessey Grignon; sister-in-law, Lois Grignon Peeters; brother-in-law, Gerald Grignon; and her special nephew, Matthew; and other relatives and her special friends, Charlene and Cheryl.

Maria is preceded in death by her sons, Jedidiah and Dakota Grignon; along with the family members of, Guy Grignon, Jr., Joylen Whitney and Scott Whitney.

Gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday January 2, 2026, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm. Inurnment will be held at St. Michael Catholic Cemetery in the spring. Father Hanz will say prayers for the family at 1:00 pm Friday January 2, 2026 at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano.
