ROSA ADAMS-BUSSARD Rosa Adams-Bussard, of Lee's Summit, MO passed away on Dec. 3, 2017. Visitation will be Friday Dec. 8, 2017 from 4-7pm at Langsford Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10:30 am Saturday Dec. 9, 2017 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial contributions be made to Rosa's Beat. Rosa was born February 21 1957. She was the daughter of Duane and Maxine Adams of Holt, Missouri. Rosa attended Kearney High School and then Central Missouri State University where she received a BS and then she received her Master degree at UMKC in Music Education. Rosa taught at Milan, MO, Southwest High School in Kansas City, MO, Lee's Summit North High School and at Olathe Northwest High School prior to a disabling accident 5 years ago. Rosa gathered a plethora of awards locally, nationally and internationally for her delivery of education to several thousand students. Rosa is survived by her husband, John Bussard of the home and her two brothers, Gene Anstaett of St. Louis and David Anstaett of Lee's Summit. She is also survived by a multitude of nieces and nephews who adored her immensely. Arrangements: Langsford Funeral Home, 115 SW 3rd Street, Lee's Summit, MO 64063 816-524-3700.

I met Rosa when she taught at Milan, Mo. I was 11. Rosa was a gifted teacher and musician, who passed the love of music on to me. She thought at that time she would never marry or have children. Her students were her children. She was proud to have come from a small community and loved to give back in whatever way she could. I am happy that she found love and happiness in her life and will suffer no more. She left a possitive impression on me and so many other people. I am thankful to have known you Rosa and that you are now at peace. God has another angel and a bright star in heaven now....
My thoughts and prayers go out to the Bussard family at this time of sorrow.

I will always remember going to London in December 1998. Rosa and many other educators, along with brave chaperones, led the Lee's Summit North marching band in the London Day Parade. Memory of a lifetime. Karla Hughes
