STEVEN MICHAEL BONO Steven Michael Bono aka Bonanno, 49, of Kansas City, MO passed away on July 10, 2017. Steve was born on September 13, 1967 in Kansas City, Missouri to Jack Bono and Sharon Cooke. He will be remembered for being the fun loving, upbeat guy wherever he went. He was an artist with earth and stone, creating beautiful water features and stone work often on a blank canvas. He had a love for music and his family, which often included friends. Steve relished in spending time with his large family, and was proud of his Italian heritage. He is adored by his 5 grandsons, who will miss him dearly. He left us way too soon, but he will never be forgotten, leaving his strong legacy through his work and his family. Steve is survived by his wife, Gloria of 23 years; his children: Keara (Joe) Torkelson, Dustin (Ashley) Bono, Kirsten Bono, and Kaitlynn Bono; his grandsons: Jayden Bono, Zachary Bono, Eldon Torkelson, Weston Bono, and Colby Torkelson; his parents: Jack (Judy) Bono and Sharon (Ken) Cooke; his siblings: Kevin Bono, Tricia Potts, and Joey Bono; and a large extended family including aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 15th at 10:00 am at Bread of Life East Church, 7223 E Bannister Rd, Kansas City, MO 64134.
