Terry Clark Obituary

Terry Allen Clark Jr. Terry Allen Clark, Jr., 73, of Lenexa, Kansas, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2020, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his daughter, Erin; son, Chris (Corey); daughter, Molly (Duncan Billings); sister, Cheryl; sister, Patricia; sister, Pamela; and numerous extended family members. He is predeceased by his mother, Jean; father, Terry, Sr.; great aunt, Emily Wolfrom Humphrey; uncle, Gene Clark; uncle, Glyn Spearman; and his beloved dog, Zoey. Terry was born in 1947 in Bryan, Texas. He spent the early part of his career in sales and hospitality, and later worked in human resources and had his own consulting business. He loved spending time with his three children, attending family reunions, vacationing on cruise ships, reading spy and war novels, celebrating Christmas, and volunteering for Shawnee Mission Medical Center and Shawnee City Hall. Terry volunteered for Shawnee Mission Medical Center for 14 years and was awarded his 2,500 hour service pin in December 2011. Terry was a proud alumnus of the University of Missouri at Columbia, a member of Delta Sigma Phi fraternity, and a beloved member of St. Michael's and All Angels Episcopal Church in Mission, Kansas. His three children were his greatest joy in life after an early retirement. Terry will always be remembered for his smile that lights up a room, upbeat personality, and positive outlook on life. A small memorial service and celebration of Terry's life will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2020, at St. Michael's and All Angels Episcopal Church for family and close friends. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that any donations be made to "Advent Health Foundation Shawnee Mission, Memo: Volunteer Services In Memory of Terry Clark." The family will have a private graveside burial at a future date at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Lenexa, Kansas.

Chris and family,

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Your Dad was such a light, and we enjoyed spending time with him at Cub Scouts and at school events at Rosehill. He always had a smile and good conversation.
