Lenexa, Kansas - Wanda Blackwell, 86, of Lenexa, KS passed away in her sleep on April 23, 2022. She was born at home on February 21, 1936 in Lenexa, KS to Todd and Eunice Blackwell.
Wanda graduated from Olathe High School and went on to pursue a career at Mission Bank for 41 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Todd and Eunice Blackwell; brother, Thomas Blackwell; nephew, Darryl Blackwell; nieces, Laurie Blackwell & Debbie Griffin. She is survived by her brother, Charles (Peggy) Blackwell of Shawnee, KS; nephew, Jeff (Sandy) Blackwell of Shawnee, KS; two nieces, Penny (Bob) Noller of Overland Park, KS and Vickie (Paul) Hudson of Tonganoxie, KS. Wanda also leaves behind four great-nieces and one great-nephew.
A visitation will be held at Amos Family Funeral Home on Friday, April 29th from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. A graveside service will follow the visitation at Lenexa Cemetery starting at 2:30 pm. Online condolences may be expressed at www.amosfamily.com.
