Barbara A. Thurow, 84, of Elgin, Illinois, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on Wednesday, July 16, 2025.
She was born in Woodstock, Illinois on May 4, 1941, to parents, Jack and Vivian Freund.
Barb is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Kirby Thurow; her children Mark (Judith Schening) Thurow and Lynda Thurow; her grandchildren: Travis Thurow and Jeremy Thurow, and a whole community of friends.
She is reunited with her parents, Jack and Vivian Freund; her son, Michael Thurow, and her sister Judy Townsend.
Services will be held privately.
