Edward "Ed" Paul Evert was born into eternal life on January 17th, 2022, surrounded by his beloved wife and treasured daughters, after 82 wonderful years on this earth.
He was born April 19, 1939, in Michigan City, Indiana, the son of Edward Sr. and Alice (née Sheehan) Evert.
Ed is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Colleen (née Finnerty); daughters Kate Evert (Joe Sheils) of Chicago and Jennifer Evert (Paul Diller) of Wilsonville, Oregon. Ed was my link to St. Ignatius for many years while I lived on the East Coast. He would drop a note every now and then to keep me "in the loop". I appreciated his interest in my family and will miss him dearly.

Very sorry to hear of your family's loss. Your father was kind enough to attend my father's wake in 2016 as a representative of SICP. I had a few moments to speak to him and I greatly appreciated his time and effort. May he rest in peace.
