Lisa Lynn (Fletcher) Appel, age 46, died at her home on Wednesday, December 3, 2014.
Lisa was born July 8, 1968, in Aurora, Illinois, the daughter of Michael and Linda (Baketz) Fletcher. She married Jim Appel, Jr. on August 22, 2007 in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
She worked for Rath-Gibson as an accountant. Lisa enjoyed scrapbooking, camping and her dogs, Harley and Lola.
She is survived by her husband, Jim; 2 daughters, Brittany Benson, Chicago and Jaimee (Drew) Bannon, Albuquerque, NM; 1 son, Austin Appel, Orfordville; mother, Linda Fletcher; and father, Michael (Dottie) Fletcher; sister, Michele Dierks, Geneva, Illinois; grandmother, Virginia Fletcher; and nieces and nephews, Erik, Alissa, Joey, Sarah, Rachael and Matthew.
A visitation and funeral service will be held at Orfordville Lutheran Church on Saturday, December 6, 2014. The visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., and funeral services at 3:00 p.m., with Rev. Andy Twiton officiating.
Lisa's family wishes to express their sincere thanks to Dr. Shekhani, PA Amanda Johnson and the nurses and staff of the Mercy Hospital Oncology Department for their compassionate care and support.
