Died: Sept. 19, 2015; in Geneva, IL
Philip J. Ellberg, age 68, of St. Charles passed away Saturday, September 19, 2015, at Delnor-Community Hospital in Geneva.
He was born November 13, 1946, in Aurora, Illinois to Philip and Marjorie Ellberg, Jr.
Mr. Ellberg is survived by his wife 45 years, Lynne; two sons, Tor (Jean) and Nick, both of Geneva; two grandchildren, Jada and Ryan; and a brother, David of DeKalb.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial service will be held 6:00 p.m., Thursday, September 24th at Yurs Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, (Rt. 64), St. Charles. Memorial visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

We send our sincere condolences to the Ellberg family on the sudden passing of Phil. Growing up together and living along the Fox River has left countless memories of happier times. Attending each other's weddings and watching our children mature adds to those memories. Blessings to Lynne and sons for much comfort and peace throughout these days.
