Daniel Sasek Obituary

Daniel Sasek passed away on March 10, 2024, at the Community Memorial Health Center in Burwell, with his family by his side. Service is at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 14, at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Sargent with Father Jim Hunt as celebrant. Burial with military honors is at the Ord Catholic Cemetery. Visitation is from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, followed by Rosary at 7 p.m., at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Sargent. Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation. Online condolences may be shared at govierbrothers.com. Govier Brothers Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Found this photo of the Sasek boys at the Louie Greenwalt farm. Dated 1953, 4 of the 5 brothers ages 5, 6, 7 years and the youngest 10 months. We so enjoyed hearing Danny play the accordion with Grandpa Louie, and then especially at Louie's 100th birthday. So sorry for your loss. Dan will be missed!
