Deborah Lee Potts
Deborah Lee Potts, 70, of Kearney, died peacefully on Sunday, April 7, 2024, following a brief illness, at CHI Health Good Samaritan in Kearney.
Deb was an organ and tissue donor and then chose to be cremated with no formal services. Inurnment will be in the Elmwood Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials are suggested to the Howard County Historical Society.
Peters Funeral Home of St. Paul is assisting the family.
Deb was born on June 2, 1953, in Grand Island, the daughter of Howard E. and Marian J. (Mannlein) Potts.
She grew up in St. Paul where she was a 1971 graduate of St. Paul High School. She attended Kearney State College and then worked at Mosaic in Axtell until her retirement.
She is survived by her mother, Marian Potts of St. Paul; sister, Sheila Perkins and J.R. Ewing of St. Paul, sister, Monica Potts of Colorado Springs, CO; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Potts; and grandparents, Charlie and Bertha Potts and Ed and Marie Mannlein.
