Loretta Eleanor (Ahrens) Hadlock
Loretta Eleanor (Ahrens) Hadlock, 95 of Lincoln passed away Sunday, March 10, 2024 at Emerald Brookside Rehabilitation and Care in Lincoln. A celebration of life will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2024 at O'Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Home in Kearney.
Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation. Condolences may be shared online at www.osrfh.com. Services are entrusted to O'Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral and Cremation Services.
Born February 28, 1929 to George and Elsie (Ohlman) Ahrens. She graduated from Kearney High School in 1947. At the age of 19, she went to California, after that she moved to Kansas City, MO where she lived for 15 years. In 1958, Loretta was united in marriage to Ray Hadlock and had 2 children; Diane Glasgow of Lincoln, NE and Ricky Hadlock of Excelsior Springs, MO.
She moved to Nebraska and went into business with the Choo Choo Lounge and Restaurant in Kearney and retired from the business at the Front Street Eatery in Gibbon. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting and being with her family.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Tod Glasgow of Lincoln; 4 grandchildren, Dawna Nichols of Excelsior Springs, MO, Dusti and Joel Henrichs of Gretna, Mackenzie Glasgow of Lincoln and Reanna and Sean Stella of Kansas City, MO; 4 great grandchildren, Jayden Bennett, Desirae Nichols, Makenna and Alexander Henrichs; brother-in-law, Roger and Mary Ann Ahrens of Lincoln; sister-in-law, Carolyn Ahrens of Lincoln; and a great friend, Kris WInslow of Kearney.
Loretta was preceded in death by her parents; son, Ricky Hadlock; brothers, Lavern and Orville; and a sister, Mae.
