Max Porter Obituary
Celebration of life services will be held at a later date. A private family inurnment will be at the Alma Cemetery.
Memorial book signing will be 5-7 p.m. Friday at the Bauer-Torrey & Mach Funeral Home in Alma.
Max was born April 8, 1931, in Albion to Don and Grace (Wilson) Porter.
In 1951, Max married Alice Larson. They divorced.
On May 4, 1980, he married Barbara Casper in Las Vegas.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Porter of Alma; son, Jerre Porter Logan of Rock Springs, Wyoming; two daughters, Jeanette Marfield of Platte City, Missouri, and Jennifer Byarlay of Randolph, Kansas; brother, Rod Porter of Fort Collins, Colorado; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
