Wesley Heath Duncan

1979 - 2022

Wesley "Wes" Heath Duncan was a caring husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He joined his father in heaven on February 8, 2022 at the age of 43.
He was born to Harold and Priscilla Duncan on February 3, 1979. Wes grew up in Bartlett, TN where he loved traveling with his family and fishing with his father. In 2006, Wes met the love of his life, Corrie, whom he shared the love of travel with and married in 2018. Through years of traveling together from Oklahoma, Alaska, Oregon, to making their home in Washington, Wes made many friends that became family to him.
Wes was a master on the grill. He enjoyed barbecuing with neighbors, teasing anyone that would challenge him, cutting jokes, and scratching off a hot lottery ticket. Wes liked to visit his past home in Juneau, Alaska and fish with the close friends he has there. He would call and tell his sisters they were missing out, and offer them heartfelt advice on life and "what they needed to do". Everyone loved to listen to Wes's stories, and some stories were known to get bigger with each person he'd tell.
Wes lost his battle with cirrhosis. Over the last year, he remained strong and fought hard while keeping hope for a transplant. Through the ups and downs, he kept his humor and was known as a comedian to his medical team.
Wes's personality was larger than life. He is loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Wes is survived by his wife, Corrie Conrad, his mother, Priscilla Duncan, his sisters; Brandie Joyner, Kimberly Persons, and Cynthia Sanders, his nieces; Brittany, Grace, Deanna, and Jennifer, his nephews; Hayden, Harry, Alex, Kaleb, Chad, Chase, and Kraig.
Wes is preceded and has joined in heaven his father, Harold Duncan, his brother, Kevin Duncan, his niece Hailey Joyner, his grandmother, Wanda Jean South, his best friend Jason Yancy, and his buddy Daytona.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to please consider contributing to the medical expenses and costs his wife will incur over the next year through this difficult time.
A memorial service for Wes will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Heritage Funeral Home.
