Jack Koteles, 78, of Yorkville passed away Monday, January 15, 2024 in Oswego. He was born August 23, 1945 in Santa Barbara, CA, the son of Charles and Bessie (Hubbard) Koteles. He married Kathleen Anderson on April 11, 1970 and spent 53 years together. Jack was a proud veteran of the US Air Force. He was a graduate of Aurora University. Jack retired from Caterpillar after 30 years of service. Throughout his life, Jack was a loyal blood donor, saving countless lives. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen; his sons, Erik (Stephanie) Koteles and Tim Koteles. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, John and James Koteles. Per Jack wishes, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, please donate a pint of blood to your local blood bank in honor of Jack. My condolences to Jack´s family. We were neighbors when we were all growing up. I remember playing a lot of intense "horse" in their driveway shoot n hoops.
