Mitchell David Koteles

Mitchell David Koteles, age 34, of Flint, passed away suddenly on July 16, 2024. A funeral service will take place 11:00 AM, Monday July 22, 2024, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. A burial will follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will take place from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday and again from 10:00 AM until the time of service Monday. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the family for the continued care of Mitchell’s children. 

Mitchell was born on December 29, 1989 in Flint the son of David Koteles and Susan Graham (Sierp). He was loved for his contagious laugh, bright smile, and caring personality. Mitchell always was willing to help anyone who needed it and a great friend to many. He was “Mr. Fix It”, he could fix anything and everything. More than anything, Mitchell was a truly dedicated father. 

He is survived by his wife, Kama; parents, Susan, David and Dan; children, Isaiah, Kingston, Paislee, Colton, Malakai and Kamdyn; siblings, Nicole, Alyssa, Jacob (Haylei), Daniel, Justin, Amanda, and Victor; grandmother, Darlene; close friends, Ben and Ryan; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mitchell was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ed Sierp, Judith Runyan, Emil Koteles, and Helen Margaret Koteles; cousins, Justin, Brock, and Nicole; and loved ones, Felicia, Kayla, and Jason. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
