Beverly Tredup Obituary
1928 - 2017
Beverly "Bev" Tredup, 88, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017, at her residence.
She was born on May 11, 1928, to the late Lawrence and Dorothy (Duvall) Smith in Kenosha. She was educated in Kenosha and graduated from Kenosha High School. She also attended the Milwaukee Business College.
On April 7, 1951 she married Donald H. Tredup at St. Mark's Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on Feb. 6, 2011.
Bev worked as a bookkeeper for Accurate Printing Co. for 40 years.
Bev was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church.
Bev enjoyed traveling, casino trips, golfing, cribbage and playing board games with her family. She was also an avid reader always having a book in her hand.
Bev is survived by her loving children, Sue (Paul) Nighbor of Kenosha, Jeanne (Don Williams) Tredup of Tennessee, Jeff Tredup and Jim (Roni) Tredup both of Kenosha, her grandchildren Crystal (Andy) Callahan, Shane (Melissa) Nighbor, Adam (Heather) Nighbor, Alexis (Brent) Williams-Carr, Travis Williams, Justin Williams, Dave Ross, Derrick Ross, Dylan Ross and Jamie (Mike) McGuire, her 15 great grandchildren and her brother, Edward (Beverly) Smith of Lancaster, Pa. Bev is also survived by her caregiver and guardian angel, Kristina Harris.
She is preceded in death by a brother, William Smith; a grandson, Jason Tredup and a daughter-in-law, Rose Tredup.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Bev will be held on Monday, Jan. 30, at 11 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church (9091 Prairie Ridge Blvd). Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home and again on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass at St. Anne's Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial would be appreciated to St. Anne's Catholic Church or to Day Break Kenosha.
