Donna R. Wolf
1940 - 2017
Donna R. Wolf, 76, of Twin Lakes, Wis., passed away Friday evening May 19, 2017, at the Burlington Medical and Rehab Center in Burlington, Wis.
The former Donna Rae Tilton was born on Sept. 5, 1940, in the Town of Randall, Wis., the daughter of the late Wayne A. and Shirley Sherman Tilton. Donna was united in marriage to Roger J. Wolf on June 25, 1960 at the Wilmot United Methodist Church in Wilmot, Wis.
Donna has been a lifelong resident of the Town of Randall. She graduated from the Kenosha/ Racine Teachers College. She formerly worked as a teacher for Salem Grade School and substituted at Randall School. She then went on to work at Humpty Dumpty Day Care in Twin Lakes. She also formerly worked doing accounting for Gander Mountain and Jays in Silver Lake.
Donna was a member of the Wilmot United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School and was Sunday School Superintendent. She was a member of the Westosha Lions Club and co-president of the Allemande Square Dance Club in Kenosha. She was a former den mother for Cub Scouts. She was Superintendent of the flowers at the Kenosha County Fair. She was also a member of the Homemaker's of Kenosha County. Donna enjoyed her pets, camping, playing cards and dominoes, crafting, knitting and painting.
Donna is survived by: her husband, Roger; four children, Mike (Betty) Wolf of Lindenhurst, Ill., Joseph Wolf of Lake Geneva, Wis., Jeff (Wendy) Wolf of Genoa City, Wis., and Alyssa Wolf of Kenosha, Wis; her extended family, Penny, Jeff and Jason Jeffords of Janesville, Wis.; eight grandchildren, Collin, Logan, Madison, Fairen, Madalyn, Autumn, Justin and Kyle; one brother, Russell (Kathy) Tilton of Fairborn, Ohio; and was aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Robert Tilton, Richard Tilton and Harold Tilton.
Memorial services will be held on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Calvary United Church of Christ, 1511 Wilmot Ave. Twin Lakes, WI. Memorial remembrances in Donna's name may be made to the Wilmot United Methodist Church, 11425 Fox River Rd. Wilmot, WI 53192. For online guestbook:
