Julia N. Mardon

1913 - 2014

Julia N. Mardon, 100, of Kenosha passed away Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, at St. Catherines Hospital in Pleasant Prairie.

She was born on Dec. 25, 1913, in Niagara Falls, N.Y., the daughter of the late John and Mary (Nawrotek) Bernat. She had been married to Stanley Mardon who preceded her in death in 1968.

For many years Julia worked as a Seamstress. She loved playing bingo, watching Lawrence Welk and listening to Polka Music.

Surviving are her son, Bob (Patty) Mardon of Pleasant Prairie; two grandsons, David (Cathy) Mardon of Kenosha, Robert J. Mardon of Tonawanda; one great grandchild, McKensie Mardon; two step great grandchildren, Lexi and Megan Caruso; special niece, Mary Lou Penkalski and her godchild, Gloria Beczkowski. She is also survived by many nieces, nephew and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by one son, Edward Mardon; five sisters and four brothers.

A private funeral service was held in her name.
