Michael Patrick Conway

PHOENIX, AZ - Michael Patrick Conway, 46, passed away on February 6, 2022 at his home in Phoenix, AZ following an illness.
Born in Milwaukee, WI, he was the beloved son of James and Jane Conway. He graduated from Tremper High School and the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a degree in Business Administration. He was employed by Vanguard as a High Net Worth Financial Consultant.
Mike enjoyed watching and playing all sports, but his first love was baseball, and he was a lifelong Cubs fan. He loved college and professional football, and he was a huge movie buff. What he valued most was people. He had many close friends across the country. He was very loyal, and he cared deeply about those in his life. He could talk to anyone and carry on a conversation for hours. He was very funny and always had a joke ready and a smile on his face. Any interaction with Mike was going to leave you happier.
He is survived by his parents James and Jane Conway; his brother John (LeAnn) Conway; his niece Harper; his uncle William Mayer; and many cousins. He is predeceased by his paternal and maternal grandparents, his uncle Stephen Mayer, his uncle John Simon, his aunt Susan Simon, and his cousin Mark Simon.
Because Mike would not have liked a large funeral, a private funeral will be held for Mike's family and closest friends. On the other hand, Mike loved a good party, so a public celebration of his life will be held this summer to allow everyone to share the many memories and great stories and honor his friendship. Details will follow when available.
