Timothy Barnett Obituary

Timothy Max Barnett

1954 - 2018

A huge welcoming committee assembled early April 16, 2018, as Timothy Max Barnett, 63, went to see his Lord, his mom and dad and numerous other loved ones on the other shore.

Tim was born on June 6, 1954, to Rev. Willard and Irene Barnett in Kenosha, Wis. Tim was the sunshine of the family from the start, always smiling and loving. Tim worked many years at the Kenosha Achievement Center and was their primary silk screener. When mobility became a problem Tim decided to stay home (to help mom).

Tim was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears, Chicago Bulls and Milwaukee Brewers. You knew whether the Bears lost or won by Tim's demeanor. He also loved to sing, the Gaither Homecoming videos were his favorite pastime. He would listen for hours. He was a lifetime member of Apostolic Faith Church.

Tim is survived by his brother Ted (Colleen Sandt) Barnett, his sister Gayle Shepherd and his womb buddy Rev. Mark (Virginia) Barnett, four nieces, four nephews and many many more family, friends and acquaintances, who will miss his infectious smile.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by four nephews, grandparents and numerous aunts and uncles very dear to him.

A Visitation for Tim will be held on Wednesday evening from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Apostolic Faith Church (1021 – 95th St) and again on Thursday starting at 10 a.m. with Homegoing Services at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Green Ridge Cemetery. Feel free to wear Tim's favorite teams apparel.

The family would like to thank the ICU and the Emergency Room staff at Froedtert South St. Catherine's Medical Center Campus for their loving and compassionate care given to Tim.
