I met Vicki, Paul and grandma Swartz over thirty years Ago when they rented my furnished one br condo at mission village a couple winters in a row. What a wonderful family. After they bought their own, I managed it when they were in Wisconsin. Soon after, vicki joined our ladies birthday luncheon group. I have a lot of good memories.

Vickie and I shared a delightful trip to Italy three years ago.
We flew together and roomed together and laughed together.
We shared many fun lunches together here in San Diego and I miss her very much.

Vicki was a favorite patron at the Amigo Spot at Kings Inn. She had a warmth and a light about her that made anyone feel like an immediate friend. Both staff and regulars alike were devastated by her passing. On Saturday, May 9th, we are having a small memorial and a dedication of her favorite spot with an engraved brass plate.

Vicki was a classy lady, and she always looked so beautiful too. I was blessed to have known her - she always brighten my day! Vicky's vivacious personality, positive attitude and beautiful smile will never be forgotten here at Mission Village. RIP Pretty Lady.

Unfortunately, my original message with the accompanying picture didn't come through. The San Diego I came back to seems a great deal duller without her. Words just can't describe the energy she had and how many times she made us laugh. A key word while playing dominoes was that she was playing "supremely". Bet she's up there making everyone laugh and ...playing supremely!
I'm sure the unexpected loss has been a shock to all and I my heartfelt synpathy goes to her entire family. She will always be remembered with great love.

My condolences to Vicki's family. I didn't know her well but she impressed me as a vivacious and fun-loving person. I have her on tape a little bit from the time I taped Paul. Sorry to hear that she was taken before her time and I wish the best for her family in dealing with her loss.

Dear Patti and Family and Friends,
I knew Vicki through the weekly dominoes games. She was so upbeat and sincere. I enjoyed hearing about her Mom's trips to Cuba, her landscaping business in Wisconsin, visits with Patti/family in Lake Geneva and Oregon, jazz in Hotel Circle and fun with Rick, her love and caregiving for her late husband Paul, lthe challenges of the day (hair color and style, being thin enough though she had a model's figure, shoulder rehab, zumba) all shared with a smile and twinkle in her eye, and her generosity in sacrificing her game on Wednesdays for whichever other player needed a good play (often me):-) I am grateful to have known her and been able to share her joy in living. My sympathies to her loved ones.

I so remember the first time Vicki and I met...we were so "high school" wondering what the other was going to think of us...from that moment in March of 2011 I easily considered her my BEST friend..The conversations we shared were so amazing (and funny!)....I love her so much and I will miss the times that we "the Kids" shared with "the Parents"...Our trips to Laughlin and/or Vegas will NEVER be the same....I still hear her laughter but miss the smiling face and love that she gave to all. Heaven truly received an Angel with the brightest of wings. I love you Vicki...

My mom, Vicki Swartz was without a doubt the best mother a child could wish for. She always put my daughterd and I first and wanted only the best for us. She was a wonderful grandma to Jaclyn and will be missed by many. It is true that she would light up the room with her smile and laughter. She loved to socialize with friends and family and so enjoyed her retirement in San Diego. I wish to thank all of her many friends in southern California including Rick, Rodger, Irene, the Dominos group, the birthday club, neighbors and the many kind people that surrounded Mom with love and friendship. I know she will continue to watch over us. Love always, Patti
