Lisa,
My sympathies are with you during this tremendous loss. Mike was one of the first people I met at Berea College in the fall of 1978. With guitar in hand and knowing how homesick I was he would play "In My Mind I'm Going to Carolina". He had the ability to calm and make you feel at home. He was a man of great integrity. Finding you was certainly one of his best choices. He touched many lives and his legacy will live on. God Bless.

Please accept my deepest sympathies. I consider my knowing Mike a true blessing. Mike was one of the kindest people I have ever met. A few years ago I was taking a graduate class at EKU and Mr. Caudill was my instructor. I remember when he told us about surviving his first cancer diagnosis. His courage and outlook were amazing. Mr. Caudill taught us a lot about being principals and life. I know that his leadership will be greatly missed in Madison County and Kentucky.

Mr Caudill has and will have such a great legacy in that the level of excellence of his leadership has propelled the students and staff of Madison county to a height which may not have been obtainable without his wisdom, guidance and courage. Mike will be missed by all the void will seem as an unsurmountable obstacle something mike knew how to overcome with ease.
