Carrie Edwards Obituary

EDWARDS Minister Carrie Bell, daughter of the late Bishop Benjamin F. Edwards and Florine Kees Edwards and step-daughter of the late Pastor/Mother Louise Edwards departed this life on Thursday, December 6, 2018. She leaves to mourn her passing, a son Bennie Edwards, daughter Jessica McGraw, her brothers William, Robert, Charles (Blanche) Edwards, Sisters, Ruth Slaughter, Mary (Robert) Williams, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral Service, Saturday, December 15, 2018, Star of Bethlehem Baptized Pentecostal Church of Holiness. Visitation 11:00 1:00 pm. Family can be reached at 859-878-8575. To the Edwards Family, My classmate Carrie. She is resting and singing with the Lord. We will miss her. Carrie and I attended Carver school then went on to Dunbar High school Knew her and her brother William. Praying for all.

Miss Carrie was truly a great friend. I ran into her at a local Chinese restaurant and we had a great time reminiscing about old times and catching up on each others lives. I can hear her singing. What a lovely spirit she was. Rest easy Miss Carrie. <3
