Lexington, Kentucky - Dan Wilson Ecton, 69, husband of Susan Faust Ecton, died Tuesday, May 16, 2023. Born on January 24, 1954 in Lexington, he was the son of Helen Grimes Ecton and the late Ralph Wilson Ecton. Additional survivors include two daughters; Sara and Dana Ecton; one sister, Shirley Lowry; and many other loved ones. Services will be conducted at 2 PM Monday, May 22, 2023 at Kerr Bros-Main St. Visitation will be 12 PM-2 PM Monday.

Dan was a wonderful person and valued friend. I was Dan´s neighbor for a few years he would often come over share stories by the fire pit and listen to old music. Never a dull moment with Dan... miss you buddy

To Dan´s family, so sorry for your loss. Knew Dan for many years as Walmart associates out of the Transportation Office in Seymour, Ind. Thought a lot of this old gruff grisly bear. Bless this good man and his family... gonna miss you Dan.
