David Doose Obituary

PARIS - David Allen Doose, 18, Old Post Road, a senior at Bourbon County High School and an employee of Homer's Restaurant, son of Allen Stacy and Julie Hauser Doose, died Tues, Nov 28, 2006. He was born June 11, 1988 in Cincinnati, OH and was a member of the Catholic Church of the Annunciation. David was an avid caver and rapeller, loved to cook, was a Life Scout of Troop #67 BSA, a member of the Annunciation Youth Group, Drama Club of Bourbon County High School, and the Greater Cincinnati Grotto Association. In addition to his parents, David is survived by a brother, Stephen Kyle Doose, Paris; maternal grandparents, John and Darlene Hauser, Cincinnati; paternal grandmother, Delcie Doose, Hamilton, OH; two aunts, Jocelyn Doose, Hamilton, OH, Leah Stich, Louisville; an uncle, John (Lisa) Hauser, Cincinnati; five cousins, Ryan Stich, Kirsten Hauser, Cameron Hauser, Justin Hauser, Brayden Hauser; and many other friends and family. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Lee R. Doose, and an uncle, Larry Stich. Son, brother, and friend: words that fail to convey the entirety of his life and the depth of impact he made on those privileged to share in his short time among us. He was so much to so many, a gentle soul whose smile and compassion touched us all, and we are poorer without him. Until we meet again, as we all are destined to do, we shall miss his light and his life. Mass of Christian Burial will be at noon Sat, Dec 2, at the Catholic Church of the Annunciation by Rev. Thomas Thai with interment in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Ryan Stich, Allen Whitaker, Chris Davis, John Hauser, Nicholas Cosmos Addington, Wesley Royse, and Kyle Doose. Visitation will be after 11am Sat at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to K.O.D.A, 2201 Regency Rd., Suite 601, Lexington, KY 40503. www.hintonturner funeralhome.com

18 years ago. It doesn't even seem real my dude. I miss you bad homie. I still remember our last conversation. We seen each other at McDonalds, i yelled at you through the windows. I pulled up, jumped out, and we hugged. I was fortunate to get that.

Julie, Stacie, and Kyle
You guys have been angels to me every since we were united together in that little hospital room. Me and David were something else when you got us together. We were always happy. We were always smiling. We were always in touch with our inner thoughts even if they weren't said. He always knew when I was sad or if I was having a bad day. He would crawl up to me off of the floor and get in my ear and say, "I love you." I shed every tear for our David. Every tear and every thought is for my David. We were only together for 4 months but it is cherished as a lifetime now. David was my one and only and I thank Julie and Stacie for letting me share their son with them. I never knew how to live till I foundt David. In God's arms may he sleep. Kyle keep up the good spirit... He's not gone.

Doose Family. Know that father and son provided much encouragement, patience and love towards our particular unit and the Scouting family in their eagerness to share their talents in exploring the caves in southern Kentucky. On behalf of Troop 967, Sacred Heart Parish, Fairfield, OH, Dan Beard Council, we join you in prayer and express our sorrow to the Doose family. Thank you for sharing your talents.

You'll really be missed, David. You and Michael were 2 of the very few people who made senior year bearable. Thank you for that. I'll never forget Tip's class(or the lack thereof) or listening to ska music in Mr. Christopher's class or constantly making fun of each others health ailments...I love you, David, and I won't forget you. I hope you've found your peace now.
