Forest Reeves Obituary
July 27, 1934 - November 3, 2025
LEXINGTON, Kentucky - Forest Leonard Reeves, 91, husband of the late Nancy Unsworth Reeves died on Nov. 3, 2025. In addition to his beloved wife, Forest was preceded in death by a stepson, Daniel Steven Blacketer and five older sisters. After graduating from the University of Kentucky, he served in the U.S. Army. His love of hunting and fishing occupied free time and his family legacy will endure with two sons, Woods Reeves, and Mike (Cathy) Blacketer; three dear grandchildren Elizabeth Brooke Hodgson, Elizabeth Blacketer Eastes, and Lambsey Reeves as well as three great grandchildren. Special thanks and heartfelt gratitude also belong to Connie Brotherton for being a part of Forest's life. Visitation will begin on Fri., Nov. 7, 2025 at 11:30 am followed by a service of celebration at 1:30 pm at Milward-Southland. Interment will be at the Lexington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or The Salvation Army. www.milwardfuneral.com
