Harold Worrell Obituary

Harold Desha "Squirrelly" Worrell, age 78, East Pike Street, Cynthiana, died Tuesday, September 23, 2003, at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington. Born in Harrison County, October 19, 1924, to the late Dallas and Mayme Lenox Worrell, he owned Worrell's Auto Sales for forty-one years, was a member of Antioch Mills Christian Church, a former District I Magistrate, a former vice chairman of the Housing Authority of Cynthiana Board, a lifetime member of the Cynthiana Elks Lodge #438 and a Kentucky Colonel. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Worrell Henson. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Doggett Worrell; a son, Tony (Christine) Worrell, Lexington; a daughter Sheila (Gary) Price, Cynthiana; a brother, William Paul Worrell, Lexington; two grandchildren, Lauren Ross and Garyn Shea Price and his mother-in-law, Ruby Doggett, Falmouth. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Ware Funeral Home by Pastor David Sabella and Dr. Larry Bishop. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Guest book at Legacy.com
