PIERSON, Hattie Mae Shelton, 74, of Hollow Creek Rd., widow of Leonard Pierson, Jr.,departed this life Thurs., May 20, 2004. A Fayette Co. native, daughter of the late Quincy Shelton and Ann Shelton Wilson and a member of Evergreen Baptist Church. To cherish her memories are three daughters; Shirley White, Isabelle Harris and Jane Pierson, two sons; Ronald Weaver and Leonard Pierson, III, two daughters-in-law; Nancy Pierson and Maria Pierson, two sisters; Hager Shelton and Stella Mae Morris, three brothers; Stanley Shelton, Leonard Shelton, and James (Gloria) Edwards, Jr. a sister-in-law; Theola Shelton, sixteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Services are Tues., 1 pm at Evergreen Baptist Church by Rev. G.M. Smith. Visitation is Tues., 11 am until time of service. Arrangements by Smith & Smith Funeral Home. Guestbook at Legacy.com
