Mrs. Smith and Horace Jr., It was a very sad day to hear that Rev. Smith was no longer with us here on earth. But he is with us in spirit. Back in December, 2009, he preached such a beautiful sermon for daddy's (George Frazier, Sr.) going home services. I know that you are hurting. God knows all about hurt. Give it to Jesus and he will take away all of your pain and sorrow.

Mrs Ethel Smith & Horace II,
A sermon that has stayed with me over the years that Rev. Smith taught and preached, "What is man, that thou art mindful of him?" and the next verse reads... "For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour." I truly believe Rev. Smith has that crown of glory and honor and God has said well done my good and faithful servant. Continue to be blessed and know that Walter & Christine Marks' daughter appreciates the love and prays over the years. Sister Smith it was a joy visiting you and Rev Smith the day after Thanksgiving on last year.

Sis Ethel Smith, and family,
Our deepest condolescences to you and your family in the homegoing of Rev Smith. He will truly be missed here on this earth. He was such a kind soul But his soul is in heaven watching over a spiritual congregation that never has to say good bye. Always howdy howdy.
His passing takes me back to Sunday morning church services where the lyrics to this song was so tenderly sung."Blessed Assurance"
Perfect submission, perfect delight,
Visions of rapture now burst on my sight;
Angels, descending, bring from above
Echoes of mercy, whispers of love.
Bro Smith knows now the peace of being around Jesus's throne.
Praying for you and your family. Your family was always so good to our family in such gentle, kind gestures that did not go unnoticed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief.

There wasn't a kinder or more generous spirit than that of Rev. Smith. I had the occasion to meet him in 1999 at the passing of my Aunt Ruth Dunn Jackson. He handled everything with dignity and compassion I am eternally grateful for the care and concern he showed me in my time of bereavement. May God continue to keep and bless his surviving family members. Heaven has received one commited to service and love of his neighbor as God has instructed.

To the Smith Family,
I am so saddened to hear of the homegoing of Rev. H.R. Smith because I have seen the mighty works completed for God through him. He was a quiet, loving spirit who took care of his fellow man. I have always had much respect for Pastor Smith and the light that shined so brightly from him. He will be sorely missed by all that had a chance to meet him. My prayers go out to the whole family both biological and spiritual.
Rest in Peace, Mighty Warrior!
Thank you for all you have done to help humanity and my family as well.

To the Smith Family, our prayers are with you in the homegoing of Rev. H.R. Smith. Our Savior has him now in his Almighty Hands. Although we will miss him, he will remain an inspiration to us all forever. His good works for his Church Family and many others are too numerous to express here. Mere words cannot convey the love, strength, and leadership, exhibited by Rev. Smith. He most surely was one of God's miracles. May our Lord and Savior be with the Smith Family now and always.

To the Smith Family, my heart is very heavy over the homegoing of Rev H.R. Smith but I know that he is in the hands of a loving God whom he served well. Rev. Smith was a very wise and intelligent person. He was well respected by all and never had to raise his voice make a point. His kindness and generosity reflected the love he had for others and like a true disciple of Jesus Christ it was his ministry to always reach out to the less fortunate. I feel so very fortunate and blessed to have met and had my life so deeply impacted by him. He was a great example and role model of a Christian man. And on Monday I'm certain that God welcomed him home with a hearty, Well done! my good and faithful servant. You've been fathful over a few things, come on up and I'll make you ruler over many things. Love to Sis Ethel and the Family. Rev. John W. Campbell and Family
