James Barron

BARRON James, 79, of Lexington, husband of Juanita Bowers Barron, died Fri, May 30, 2008. He was a retired employee for General Electric Glass Plant. He was the son of the late Willis and Erlena Harp Barron and was a member of the Little Texas Community Church. Besides his wife, survivors include one daughter, Lisa (Scott) Murphy; three grandchildren, Nicole (Nathan) Cheak, Justin (Shannon) Coomer and Tiffany Dolin; one great grandchild, Hayden Freeman; two sisters, Frances Kirby and Sarah Edwards; four brothers, Eugene, Ernest, Tommy and Bernie Barron; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by five brothers, George, Willis, Jr, Harry, Russell and Lloyd Barron. Funeral services will be 2:30 pm Tue at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home - Harrodsburg Road. Burial will follow in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5pm until 9pm Mon at the funeral home.
