Jerry Maxey Obituary

MAXEY Jerry W., 64, husband of Linda Grose Maxey (Hope), died Tue, March 11, 2014 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Born Dec 7, 1949 in Lexington, KY, he was the son of the late Harold W. and Barbara Ann Haynes Maxey. Mr. Maxey served in the U.S. Air Force, and had been employed in electrical maintenance for KY American Water Company. He was a Mason and a member of the Scottish Rite. Survivors other than his wife include a son, Jerry J. (Kim) Maxey; two daughters, Mary (Steve) Maxey, and Emily (Brian) Baker; a step-daughter, Melinda Hope; thirteen grandchildren, Cheyenne, Zachary, Donnie, Skyler, Harley, Camron, Kody, Cassandra, Breaunna, Rebecca, Krystal, Kimberly, and Chanel; one great-grandson, Zander; two brothers, Johnie (Sandy) Maxey and Jimmy (Sue) Maxey; a sister, Diane (Stanley) Stinnett; a special aunt, Goldie Dunn; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Christina Hope. No services are planned. Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. in charge of arrangements.
