Lexington, Kentucky - Jesse Hilton "Boppy" Baldridge, 87, of Lexington, passed away August 30, 2025. He retired after 42 years as Chaplain at Mayfair Manor Nursing Home and also worked at Shriners Hospital and the U.S. Post Office.
Survivors include children David Baldridge, Betty Cornett (Nathan), and Roy Dan Baldridge; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; siblings Kelly Baldridge and Virginia Gail "Jenny" Southworth.
Visitation: Immanuel Baptist Church, Friday, Sept. 5, 4–8 p.m. Service: Saturday, Sept. 6, 10 a.m.

Jesse was a great friend and calming influence with my mother Beulah Bell during her time at Mayfair. He was going to perform her funeral but had a spell the morning it was scheduled. We spoke with him a number of times after. He was a good man. Condolences to the family.

Jesse Boppy was in my life group. He was a cornerstone stone of our group. Over the years I grew to love him as a friend you could always count on. He will be missed greatly.
