Jesse Compton Obituary

MT STERLING - Jesse J. Compton, 74, retired factory worker and Mt. Sterling Policeman, died Sunday. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Compton and son, James Edward (Karen) Compton and three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren all of Mt. Sterling. Funeral services will be 11am, Wednesday at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in the Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday evening from 5-9pm.

Peggy I just read about Jesse's passing. I am so sorry. Mother and Daddy loved the both of you so much and I remember him so well. He was such a great man and will be missed.

I was saddened by this news of an old friend.Condolences to the family.Jesse and I worked for Rainbo Bread a few years in the early 'seventies' on routes out of the Levee.Time passes as do we all.Rest in peace old friend.
