Jordan Barnard Obituary
October 28, 1986 - October 14, 2024
Cincinnati, Ohio - With great sorrow, we share the passing of Jordan Ashley Hoenscheid Barnard. Taken far too soon, her vibrant spirit, kindness, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Jordan was born in Lexington Kentucky and attended Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary and Paul Lawrence Dunbar. She was a proud alumni of the University of Kentucky. At UK, she was a dedicated member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority where she forged lifelong friendships and cherished memories. She was an avid Kentucky Wildcats fan (and later in life, an Ohio State fan by necessity).
Beautiful both inside and out, Jordan had a heart as big as her smile. Her grace, generosity, and boundless love for her family and friends made her a light in the lives of many. She will be remembered for her fun-loving spirit, her incredible sense of style and fashion, her dedication to those she held dear, and the joy she bought to every room she entered.
Jordan is survived by her husband, Michael Barnard; mother, Mindy Simms; father, Robert Hoenscheid; her beloved companion, Teddy; also loving in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Mass will be held on Saturday, the 19th at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross-Immaculata, 30 Guido Street, Cincinnati, OH.
A Celebration of Life will be held the following afternoon, Sunday the 20th from 12-3 at The View at Mt. Adams, 1071 Celestial Street, Cincinnati, OH.
On Monday, October 21st, there will be a Celebration of Life held at Lexington Country Club, 2250 US-68E, Lexington, KY from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

I am so very sorry to learn about Jordan's passing. My heart simply aches for all the family.
Rob, Lisa, Mike, the entire family, please know my family deeply cares for you and we will be here for you. I have not had time with Jordan for many years, but I remember the many times she spent with me and my daughter during High school. She was a blessing to us. She is now a beautiful Angel.
