Juanita Murphy Obituary

SADIEVILLE - Juanita Darnell Murphy, 87, of Sadieville, passed away Friday, January 31, 2014 in Mobile, Alabama. A native of Scott County, she was the daughter of the late Ed and Maude Hysong Darnell. Juanita was retired from the Square D Company in Lexington and a member of the Sadieville Christian Church. Survivors include 4 children, Eddie (Patsy) Murphy, Lexington; Susan (Jamie) Clifton, Sadieville, Terri Carrier (Kevin George), Mobile, AL, and Michael (Karen) Murphy, Georgetown; 6 grandchildren, Leslie (John) McClellan, Tony Clifton, David Carrier, Nikki (Shane) Buron, Shanon (Ben) Medley and Jennifer (Curtis) Haynes; four great-grand-children, Trinity, Katie, Jack and Bay; and one sister, Phyllis Gregory. She was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother. Funeral services will be 11am Saturday at Johnson's Funeral Home, Georgetown by Rev. Dean Scott. Burial will follow in the Sadieville Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Wayne and David Carrier, Tony Clifton, John McClellan, Ben Medley and Jeff Darnell. Visitation will be 5-8pm Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Kentucky. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.johnsonsfuneralhome.com.
