If only there were words that could express the deep loss in my heart and in the heart of my son, Colin. You will be missed every day, but gave me so much in the 7 years we all had together playing baseball and growing in our friendship to become more like family. I was blessed to call you my friend, and my son was blessed to have received your love as a "Dad" would have given him. Two little boys, Josh and Colin became best friends and shared their friendship between two families that grew into a relationship that will forever be one of a kind.

To Robyn, the kids, and Larry's parents,

I am very sorry for your loss. I met Larry because he was my FEDEX person at UK. He and I became good buddies as he shared his love for wrestling, baseball, and his family. He convinced me to sign up my son Eli to play on Jonathan's team. He was a good person, he and Walter always had a joke to share. I will miss him. I know that he is in heaven organizing a new league. I am praying for you all. Continue to hold onto your faith and God will see you through.

Our family will never forget the summer of 2004. We gained new friends and new families. The Sherbert family will forever be in our hearts and our memories. Larry took care of Luke. He taught him how to have fun playing baseball and he taught him how to be confident. I can honestly say that Larry was the best coach Luke ever had. Every kid on the Tornadoes loved him, Walter and Keith. Luke will never forget Larry and the summer of 2004, and neither will BT & I. We love you dearly and will always be there for you and your family.

Dear Robin,

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Larry was a great guy and will be missed by so many. He was such an inspiration to our children. He taught the kids that there was more than winning it was having fun and you don't find that with coaches anymore. Hunter respected and enjoyed playing for him so much that he asked his dad if he could play for him his last season at SWLP. He was a GREAT GUY and touched so many children's hearts.

If you need anything please don't hesitate to give me a call. I still have the same cell number. You and the children are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless you!

We only knew Larry from the Yard Dawgs but his love for the players and for baseball was always apparent in everything he did. He always went the extra mile to make sure the experience was positive. We will miss him at Shillito. May God make his Grace to shine on Larry's family and provide comfort in this time of sorrow.

To Larry's family:

Larry was a really neat guy. I had known him since we lived across the street from the Sherbert's in the late 70's. Years later when our children were going to Meadowthorpe School together we reconnected. He turned out to be my Fed Ex guy at home and my work. He always had a smile and wrote me an encouraging little note. I already miss seeing him. I will keep all of you in my prayers.
